You should immediately report a lost or stolen card online or by calling customer service as soon as possible. At the cardholders request, a replacement card will be issued and any available value will be transferred to the new card, less a replacements card fee that will be deducted from the card's available balance. As long as the lost or stolen card is reported immediately you will not be held responsible for any unauthorized merchant charges.

 

A Green Dot MoneyPak® is a way to reload a PaycardUSA Card. To load cash to your card, simply go to a retail location near you to purchase a MoneyPak®. To apply the cash load amount to your Card call the number on the package and follow the instructions. The funds will be immediately applied to your Card. The MoneyPak is avalaible at thousands of retailers nationwide.

Some gas stations can place a "pending authorization" on your payroll card, in fact this is now common practice. To avoid a gas pending authorization go inside and have the attendant swipe the card as "credit", for the exact amount you wish to purchase. Otherwise a predetermined amount will be withheld by the gas station. Upon settlement, the real amount will be deducted from your card account, and any amount that was held over the real amount will be released back to the card account.

An easy way to avoid these "Pending Authorizations" is to have the gas attendant swipe your card and purchase an exact amount of gas.

Using an ATM will normally cost you a surcharge fee, the best way to get more for your money is to visit a local retail location that has an AllPoint™ ATM in it's location. You're card will allow one free withdrawal per Direct Deposit from your employer at these ATM locations, if your card is part of the participating ATM™ Network. To see if you qualify login to your cardholder account, contact customer service or see your terms and conditions that came with your card.

Another step is to use the "cash back" feature when avaliable when making a point-of-sale transaction. Simply select "Debit" when making your purchase, most merchants will allow you to select an amount to withdrawl from your account. "Cash Back" is easier and much cheaper then the surcharge fees charged at an ATM outside the network.
